HEIGHLINER is an artist, producer, and DJ from England—a founding force behind the British art collective blaqbloc and a dedicated voice within the electronic avant-garde.
His music is always raw, emotive, and unflinchingly personal. A hybrid form shaped over decades—where 80s pop, 90s rap and 00s metal converge with the deep pulse of underground soundsystem culture.
Forever evolving, HEIGHLINER continues to push the boundaries of electronic sound. Since 2020 he has been journeying into the vast expanse of modern Wave, bringing in elements of ambient minimalism and cinematic textures.
His sonic landscapes are haunting and dramatic yet tender—built on deep basslines, neon-scorched synths, delicate vocals, and the grain of real-world recordings. Orchestral fragments. Dense folding atmospheres and deep spaces. Each piece a reflection of memory, emotion, and vulnerability.
These unfiltered expressions resonate far beyond genre. HEIGHLINER doesn’t just make music—he channels feeling into form, crafting sound into something both familiar and utterly unbound.

WHAT I’m WORKING ON
Art begins with resistance. Creating this website has been a recent obsession of mine. Learning the skills required has been a labour of love. Though I have felt it necessary, for some time, to create an independent art space for my work. Away from the crowds. Free from algorithmic pressures, scandalous AI practices and censorship. Over time, I will see it grows into a rich collection of memories, moods and feelings. Something I hope will outlive me and serve as a monument to my passion for creativity and freedom.
Everything I make is a feeling. An often frantic outpouring of emotion that can take its toll on my physical form. I hope that it connects with you in a way that makes you feel as alive, as I feel when I am making it.
